We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Kitchen Assistant to join our welcoming café team.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting the kitchen team to prepare and serve fresh, high-quality food. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Chef with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
- Preparing ingredients and food items according to recipes and instructions.
- Using cooking equipment, utensils, and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and dishes as required.
- Checking stock levels and helping to ensure ingredients are stored correctly and safely.
- Following food hygiene, allergen, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.
- Helping the wider team during busy service periods to ensure food is prepared and served efficiently.
- Supporting the Chef and kitchen team with other duties as required.

- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is helpful, but not essential as training will be provided.
