It was a fantastic occasion on Sunday where we welcomed Bart Gee to our ‘Taste of Church’ service last weekend.

Bart shared some of his story about how God has used him throughout his life after his parents were told at his birth that he was unlikely to ever walk, having being diagnosed with a rare condition called ‘Arthrogryposis’.

Bart’s positive outlook on life was echoed by his words to us during the service, sharing that his disability didn’t prevent him from trying to succeed in each and every task and challenge that he faces every day. He shared how some of the successes he was making were down to how good God was and not in his own ability.

Bart joined the worship band to play the keyboard – and although facing extreme limitations, led the church in song as we concluded with ‘How great is our God’.

Don’t miss our next ‘Taste of Church’ event on Sunday 10th October when we welcome Brian Greenaway who has worked in Israel for a number of years from MAOZ Ministries.
